Gluten-Free Chex Mix (Vegan, Dairy Free, Peanut Free)
This gluten free, dairy free, and peanut free Chex Mix is savory, salty, crunchy, and has a little kick to it! It’s so good, no one in my family can tell it’s gluten free, or dairy free, other than that they see me eating it. That’s a dead giveaway! I’ve been making it for years, but since I recently started blogging, there is a place for me to share it with you all.
Forget about heating up the oven for this recipe (unless you really want to)! Nobody got time for that. Well, I don’t at least! This recipe is quick, easy, and delicious. Easy mode activated!
Growing up, we always had delicious SuperBowl food at my mom’s parties. Chex Mix was always among the many delicious Super Bowl recipes that were prepared. This was long before my diet restrictions, so I ate it without worrying about the contents. Now that I’m older and gluten bothers me, Chex Mix was among the food I missed the most! However, it’s ridiculously easy to prepare as gluten free and dairy free. If you are allergic to peanuts or nuts, leave them out altogether!
This gluten free Chex mix recipe has the following ingredients:
- Rice Chex cereal
- Corn Chex cereal
- Almonds (or nuts of your choice, can easily be modified to be nut-free)
- Gluten Free pretzels (I use Glutino)
- Earth Balance (vegan margarine)
- Worchestershire sauce. If you want a vegan Chex mix, get a vegan Worchestershire sauce like the one from Annie’s Organics. Name brand Worchestershire sauce has anchovies (fish) in it, so be cautious and check the label!
- Seasonings (see below)
This gluten free Chex mix recipe takes 10 minutes to make and is savory, satisfying, and perfect party idea for Super Bowl snacks or the holidays!

Pour Chex mix into large microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High 5 minutes, or until cereal is crunchy, thoroughly stirring every 1 minute. Spread on paper towels or parchment paper to cool. Do not overcook or cereal will burn.
Store in airtight container.
