Wendy’s is a popular fast food chain that markets fresh, never frozen ingredients. They have limited selection of gluten free items on the menu, with modifications.
It is important to note that Wendy’s uses shared fryers, surfaces, and cooking utensils with items containing gluten. Therefore, salads are recommended to order without chicken. Unfortunately, you will still pay full price for the salad. If cross-contamination doesn’t matter to you, they allow ordering a plain grilled chicken breast (half=$2, whole=$4), but the employees have a hard time understanding what this means. I have gotten a grilled chicken wrap, grilled chicken on a bun, etc. Usually, I order the apple pecan chicken salad. It’s pretty tasty and a healthier option. They also have baked potatoes that are decent.
