  • 15 ounces canned black beans drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese substitute vegan cream cheese
  • 1.5 Tbsp almond butter
  • .5 clove minced garlic .5 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • .25 tsp salt, plus more to taste
  • .25 tsp ground cumin
  • .5 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 Tbsp orange zest
  • 1 pinch black pepper


  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend on high until creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.

  2. Taste and adjust flavor as needed.

  3. Transfer to bowl and serve as is or garnish with more orange zest. Store leftovers in a covered, sealed bowl in the refrigerator up to 3-4 days.
